Barrington Fete

Barrington near Ilminster will hold its Fete at the Village Hall and playing fields on Saturday 17th August from 12 noon to 4 pm.

Come along to enjoy an afternoon of live music, merriment and Morris dancing. Over 40 local craft and produce stalls will be displaying their wares. There will be a great selection of classic cars or bring your four-legged friends to enter the Family Dog Show.

Licensed bar, cream teas, BBQ and hot food, ice-creams and cakes will all be available. We have a Punch & Judy show, bouncy castle, helter-skelter, face painting and much more for the younger ones. Look at the owl and hawk display or try your hand at Skittles and the coconut shy.

Grand raffle £1 per ticket - 1st prize a Three Course Meal for Two at the Barrington Boar. Or vote for your favourite scarecrow, there are now 30 scarecrows in gardens throughout the Village. Entry £1 per adult Under 12's free.
