Dog First Aid Course

This dog first aid course runs for seven hours (7) hours and is delivered by director Amanda Williams who is a qualified veterinary nurse, who's husband is a veterinary surgeon. She has a wealth of experience to impart on the course.
Included is your certificate of attendance which is valid for three (3) years from the date of completion. The course is CPD accredited and relevant for all pet owners and professional dog walkers.
She routinely work with members of The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons to ensure our skills and course content is kept fully up to date.
Course content includes:
- Role of the First Aider
- Safety
- What is health, what isn't
- Primary Survey
- CPR
- Bleeding
- Drowning
- Heatstroke
- Burns
- Fractures
- Bites
- Vomiting & Diarrhoea
- Traffic accidents...and much more!        

Light refreshments will be available. Please bring your own lunch. There will be an opportunity to purchase dog first aid products on the day.
All proceeds from the day will go to the Somerset and Dorset Greyhound Trust (charity) to help in the rehoming of retired racing greyhounds.
