Yeovil Half Marathon

Join us on Sunday 26th March for the 11th Yeovil Half Marathon.

Around 1300 athletes will leave Petters Way at 09:00 and travel down through South Street and onto Addlewell Lane. They will then turn right heading towards Goldenstones where they will take another right turn onto Hendford.

And then onto the High Street and down through the town centre, Silver Street, Market Street and Central Road past the bus station and onto Sherborne Road where they will divert back up to Lysander Road taking in the full length of Ninesprings Country Park, no time to look at the view as they are back on the road all the way to Montacute, where they will run through the stunning grounds of the National Trust’s Montacute House before heading back to Yeovil via Balls Hill (everyone’s favourite bit!) and Thorne Lane.

With less than three miles to go, another right turn onto Larkhill Road runners can enjoy a long stretch of downhill as they head towards the crossing on Preston Road onto Preston Grove.

The route then follows a path towards the Queensway underpass and onto the finish back through the town centre where runners will be greeted by thousands of spectators and massive applause as they run down the High Street once again but this time they will turn into the Quedam Shopping Centre and complete the final stretch to the finish line where they will collect their beautiful finishers medal and souvenir reusable cup filled with a well-earned drink.
