This Christmas, St Margaret's Hospice is branching out and offering you the opportunity to have your real Christmas tree collected in aid of St Margaret's.
Do you love having a real Christmas tree but hate having to deal with the clean-up after the New Year? Well look no further as St Margaret’s is here to help!
The St Margaret's Hospice Christmas Tree Crew will be collecting Christmas trees on Saturday, 13th and Sunday, 14th January 2024 from postcodes across Somerset in exchange for a donation to save you the bother of disposing of your tree in the New Year.
Teams of dedicated volunteers will be collecting trees in the following postcodes:
The Curry Rivel Active Travel Group has been working for several years to create a link within the village to a planned car-free route across the Somerset Levels
Two new litter-pick stations have been installed, equipped with litter pickers and reusable bags for anyone to borrow and do their own two-minute clean-up at countryside sites across South Somerset.
