Recycle sites switch to summer hours.

    From Thursday 1 April, recycle site timetable changes to summer opening with the same days but an extra hour.

    That means opening hours are 9 am-6 pm at open sites on weekdays. All 16 sites stay 9 am-4 pm Saturdays and Sundays.

    These 10 sites open 9 am-6 pm today: Bridgwater, Chard, Frome, Highbridge, Minehead, Somerton, Taunton, Wellington, Wells, Yeovil.

    Ten sites open 9 am-6 pm tomorrow Good Friday 2 April: Bridgwater, Chard, Frome, Highbridge, Minehead, Somerton, Taunton, Wellington, Wells, Yeovil.

    All 16 sites open 9 am-4 pm Saturday 3 April and Sunday 4 April.

    These 12 sites open 9 am-6 pm Easter Monday 5 April: Bridgwater, Castle Cary, Chard, Cheddar, Crewkerne, Frome, Minehead, Street, Taunton, Wells, Williton, Yeovil.

    Full safety measures remain essential journeys only, social distance, gloves, mask if possible, sort materials before travel, max two in the vehicle, no manual assistance from staff. More details: somersetwaste.gov.uk/allatall/

    Charges for non-household materials continue, as does the van and trailer permit system.
