Red Watch Yeovil take on 26 miles in full fire kit!

Red Watch of Yeovil fire station will be walking 26 miles on the 24th February 2022 in full fire kit and breathing apparatus to raise money for St Margaret’s Hospice Somerset and The Firefighter's Charity.

Red Watch will be walking this in memory of Watch manager Chris Grantham’s mother Linda who sadly passed away earlier in the year after a short battle with cancer.

The support St Margaret’s hospice gave to Linda and continue to give Chris’s family has been exceptional and the charity continues to support other members of the watch and their families through challenging times.

Half the donations will also go to the Firefighters charity that provides incredible support to all firefighters through rehabilitation from injuries and mental health.

Any donations no matter how big or small would be greatly appreciated to go towards two really great charities that are very close to all of our hearts.

We would love for donations to be split 50/50 between the two charities so have created two pages for each charity.
