St Margaret’s Hospice Care’s Colour Run is back!

St Margaret’s Hospice Care is inviting people across Somerset to throw on their brightest outfits and join them for the most colourful fun run of the year on Saturday, 14 May.

The hospice is hoping supporters will run, walk, or dance their way around the roughly 5km route at Taunton Racecourse. On the way round there will be paint stations of colour and with a paint party at the end, everyone will certainly see supporters coming!

Ellie Weston, Marketing & Events Officer at St Margaret’s, said: “We’re so excited to be welcoming our supporters back to the Colour Run. It’s the perfect opportunity for all the family to have a fantastic time while doing something amazing for your local community.”

This year’s event is proudly joint sponsored by Mogers Drewett and Dulux with the paint stations on the course sponsored by Cornish Mutual and Amicus Law Solicitors and St Margaret’s is very grateful for their support.

A spokesperson for Mogers Drewett said: “We pride ourselves on building relationships with our clients and also with the local community in which we work. We are delighted to be a joint headline sponsor of this year’s St Margaret’s Colour Run to support the amazing work the hospice does in our local community and also to give our teams the opportunity to have fun.”

A spokesperson for Dulux, added: “We are delighted to be able to support such a fantastic local charity. St Margaret’s continue to provide a huge amount of support throughout the community, and we’re excited to combine our passion for colour with the brilliant work the hospice carries out to positively impact the community.”

Colour Run entry costs £15 for adults and £10 for children. Sign up today and raise sponsorship to ensure patients and their families facing a life-limiting illness across Somerset continue to receive the care and support they need.

Last year St Margaret’s Hospice supported more than 5,000 people. This care is provided because of events like the Colour Run, with supporters raising thousands of pounds to help provide care across Somerset.
