Radio Ninesprings is once again supporting The Gert Gathering at Johnson Park on Saturday 27th of July. We'll be broadcasting live from the event.
Join us for the ultimate gathering of Gert enthusiasts at Johnson Park on Saturday, July 27, 2024! Get ready for a day filled with fun, laughter, and all things Gert, while raising lots of money for our chosen charity which this year is Mind In Somerset.
From noon onwards, we'll have a variety of exciting activities planned for you. Join us for live music, children's activities and entertainers.
Last year we sold out one month before the event, so please don't miss out this time.
This year we have some great live bands lined up and more live music than ever before, including the BREAK BEAT BANDITS who are headlining and back by popular demand!
Please note that - the Gert Gathering Music Festival maintains a zero-tolerance policy on drugs. Gert Gathering Festival’s events are drug-free! It is forbidden to use or possess any drugs at the event. This also includes soft drugs, such as cannabis.
When the organisation spots or confirms any infringements, the offender can be handed over to the police. It is also forbidden to trade drugs at the Gert Gathering Music Festival. Before entering the event you will be able to deposit drugs in the designated drugs bin without being charged with any consequences.

Established in 2018 by Amy Parker, Power of Performing focuses on the benefits of the arts both on and off the stage. Amy runs a performing arts group for under-18s in Dorset which focuses on dance, drama, singing, confidence building, social skills and teamwork, also providing these children with performance skills and experiences throughout the year. Amy coaches in many primary and secondary schools within the Dorset and Somerset area helping to make the arts accessible to all.
Amy also specialises in private vocal coaching tuition, providing students with the opportunity to perform in concerts and train t towards LAMDA exams.
Amy completed her BA Honours in Musical Theatre and taught at a local theatre school for 7 years where she was fortunate enough to MD for various shows at the Octagon and Her Majesty’s Theatre in London. Amy has MD’d for Yeovil Amateur Pantomime Society’s past 2 shows.
Power Of Performing is very passionate about creating a nurturing, no-pressure, family environment where participants can thrive and learn life skills through the ‘Power’ of performing.
