The company says drone technology offers great opportunities for the Yeovil factory and that it intends to fully exploit those opportunities. Managing Director, Nick Whitney, says before they move to the next stage, they will need the support of an order from the British government.
Police are investigating an attempted robbery in Chard. It happened in Mitchell Gardens at around 9.30 pm on Tuesday night when a man was grabbed by another man who demanded money. Anyone who can help the police is asked to call the non-emergency number 101.

The proposed change of use of Acacia Lodge on Hendford Hill has been submitted by the Bournemouth Churches Housing Association. South Somerset District Council now has to decide if the change of use should be granted.
