Ilminster Carnival returns on Saturday, October 1st, after an absence of three years due to Covid. Kym Toms says the procession will be smaller than those of previous years.

Vandals have struck again at Ilminster Recreation ground. This time, the damage has been caused to two doors inside the public toilets. Ilminster Town Council is advising people not to use the toilets until the doors have been replaced.
Staff at Leonardo helicopters in Yeovil have presented a cheque for £88,000 to the Yeovil Hospital Breast Cancer Unit Appeal. The money was raised by members of the Leonardo Yeovil Trainee Charity and Social Committee. Once built, the new breast cancer unit will bring together Yeovil Hospital’s breast cancer services under one roof.
