Senior Conservatives in Yeovil voted in favour of him standing again earlier in the year but due to boundary changes in the Yeovil constituency, their decision has been ruled as invalid. Now, Mr Fysh has been forced to ask all party members living within the new constituency boundary to vote on his future.

The High Street, Hendford and the Borough will be closed to vehicles for eight months from April 18th for work to lay new pavements slabs as part of the Yeovil Refresh project. Work to refurbish Ilminster’s public tennis courts is due to start early next month. The Lawn Tennis Association has given the Town Council a grant to carry out the refresh that is due to be completed by mid-June.
